Trucking — Truck Guard coverage lines

Coverage lines we place for motor carriers

A motor carrier policy is a stack of coverage parts — each with its own limits, deductibles, filings, and underwriting drivers. This index lists every coverage line we place for trucking operations.

The motor carriers we work with rarely buy a single policy. They buy a set of coverage parts that have to interact correctly at the moment of loss — primary auto liability carrying the BMC-91 filing, motor truck cargo answering the bill of lading, physical damage settling the equipment, non-trucking liability filling the off-dispatch gap, and so on. Knowing how the parts stack is most of the underwriting conversation.

Each of the 8 pages below explains what the coverage actually pays for, the filings or endorsements that attach to it, and the underwriting questions that move pricing at quote and renewal. Click through to the coverage line you want to read about.
